I got bored one night, which happened to be the first anniversary of it, and decided to make a blog about Line Rider. Let's start off the posts with some obvious questions:
What is Line Rider?
Line Rider is a toy/game made in September 2006, by Boštjan Cadež, AKA *fsk. The idea is simple: draw a few lines, and watch the guy on the sled ride it. The first edition, beta, had a pencil tool, buttons to play/stop it, saving, and a button to delete. The original version on deviantART has been viewed 25,035,521 at this posting. That works out to about 68,590.5 views every day, and that is just for the original.
Beta 2 came out sometime in the holiday season, with much improved game play. It is now possible to erase. Also, there is a line tool, for drawing straight lines, as well as two new types of lines: Red accelerator lines, for making the line rider speed up or slow down, and Green scenery lines, for drawing backgrounds. You can also use a checkpoint and zoom tool.
Who are you?
I am a student in high school who thought that this is a cool - if slightly nerdy - thing to blog about. I am studying to go into a field of advanced mathematics, like game design or work in NASA or the Military. If the site gets popular enough, I'll put some ads on it, in order to pay for a .com address and car insurance, which is kind of expensive. The ads won't be big, so don't worry.
What are you going to post?
I plan on posting videos, tutorials, and anything else that comes to mind.
What is Ffac06?
Ffac06 is my ultimate username. If you ever see somebody with the name Ffac06, that is most likely me. If you have doubts, then leave a comment. It stands for Final Fantasy Advent Children, one of my favorite movies ever. If you have to get it, get the one that has english subs: you get an extra few minutes of movie. 2006 was the year it came out and I first started using the name, hence '06.
